Recruitment Objective

DM WATCH LIMITED is conducting a study titled “Scoping Study for Pro-Poor Business Development through the Local Economy Analysis for the SWAPNO II” project implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). SWAPNO II started in July 2023 in the poorest climate-vulnerable 12 districts, targeting ultra-poor women groups (aged 18 to 45) who are either divorced, separated, widowed, abandoned or have disabled husbands unable to earn minimum income), to ensure the employability and sustainability of project outcomes.

The recruited Qualitative Data will conduct Key Informant Interviews (KIIs), Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and In-Depth Interviews (IDIs) for the study.

Scope of Work

Attending training sessions with attentiveness and curiosity under the study team’s guidance

Conducting Key Informant Interviews (KIIs), Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and In-Depth Interviews (IDIs)

Writing transcript of the collected qualitative data during and after the fieldwork

Ensuring data integrity and quality during field data collection

Maintaining consistent communication with the DM WATCH LIMITED’s assigned fieldwork Coordinator throughout the entire data collection period

Meeting data collection deadlines while upholding data quality standards

Actively engaging in daily debriefing sessions following fieldwork activities

Systematically collect and submit transcripts, recordings, and all other relevant documents using the Google Drive folder link shared by DM WATCH LIMITED

Systematically collecting and submitting conveyance and other related bills within stipulated deadlines

 

The Candidate Ideally Should

Have experience in collecting qualitative data

Have experience in transcribing qualitative data of at least three (3) studies

Have experience of collecting data from various geographical areas in Bangladesh. She/he must be willing to collect data from any geographical area in Bangladesh.

Have good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

Have the willingness to work under pressure

Respect the local culture of the respondents while collecting data

Have a collaborative mentality and good teamwork spirit

Be completely available during the assignment period

 

Duration of Job: Tentatively two to three weeks (Starting from the end of October 2024)

Educational Requirements:

The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any university. Business Studies, Social Science, Development Studies or any other relevant subjects will get preference.
